10 Challenging Realities About Online Money Making That No One Will Tell You
10 Hard Facts About Making Money Online That No One Will Tell You - Profit from the Internet
“Make money online” or MMO is a common lure for scam artists who prey on people in precarious situations. We can avoid using their strategies, which is one of the great things about the Hive blockchain
This is one reason why this neighborhood is not named after the highly toxic field
Since this is a brand new community, I thought it would be a good idea to address some common misconceptions about making money online in order to get everyone on the same page and create the Power Bloggers community as a safe space.
1. Making money online does not guarantee wealth
Making money online takes time. Not as fast as the scammers think, anyway, just send 20 payments totaling $99, etc.
As they say, “If you want to make a million dollars, start with $10 million and invest in cryptocurrencies” ;) You can make money fast.
You obviously have an advantage if you already have a large following or a well-known brand, but that's not the case if you're just starting out.
It takes time and effort to consistently make money ethically. Selling to someone who is willing to buy what you have to offer is what it entails.
2. Sales is what we all do.
an offer? Yes, we always sell, even if you're not exchanging money for goods and services.
We always have an impact on others, whether intentionally or unintentionally. We change the way others see us through our words and actions.
Think of the individuals you meet every day who are no more skilled or beautiful than you, yet have managed to amass a massive following and network with ease.
Their understanding of human psychology explains this distinction.
3. Putting in effort pays off.
Many will try to convince you that it is simple. If it were simple, everyone would do it.
However, it can be easy.
Many people are willing to take your money to teach you a system that usually involves spamming email, blogs, forums, Facebook posts, and elsewhere. The most important thing is what they don't know.
You will all fail if you use the same formula for everyone. It is a Ponzi scheme conducted online for marketing purposes.
Although competition is necessary, it does not mean that your competitors are your enemies. More and more competitors are joining the online world every day.
We outperform our competitors in one or more of the following three areas:
·
You are more skilled at things than others.
·
You do things they can't do.
· You take action when they don't.
Taking action that no one else is taking is the best course of action. If you are different, there will be no competitors.
4. Product market fit
While blogging on Hive allows us all to express our true selves, it's important to note that we can't write about anything and hope to achieve our financial goals. Do you have something that people will be interested in? Have you identified who is most likely to listen to you?
5. Size is not the only factor that matters
Generally speaking, increased views, subscribers, and traffic are positive things. However, popularity does not always translate into success.
I said in the community introduction post that there are many people for whom a small donation of $10 or $50 will have a profound impact on their life. This is the viewpoint I require, and I believe it is true for many of us as well.
Comparing
audience sizes is comparable to this. We are given strange, warped ideas about
what constitutes a small or huge audience.
I spend most
of my days surrounded by people who have millions of subscribers and spend tens
of thousands of dollars on advertising each month. The irony is that their
wealth isn't reflected in that equation as much as you would think. People
assume that because I have a large email list and a large number of Twitter
followers, I should be able to make a lot of money from them.
6. Action is true influence.
Simply because you are well-known, have a large following, or receive 10 million views on YouTube does not make you an influencer. You won't create a business by dancing sensually on TikTok, but you might gain more OnlyFans that way.
You are in need of conversions.
When someone
converts from being interested in what you have to say to acting on it, that is
called a conversion.
Executing. That is, they must see your message, become inspired by it, and then act in a way that progresses them through your funnel and funds your account.
Individuals will say all kinds of positive things. Even though people may read your articles, click on your links, and so forth, it doesn't guarantee that they will make a purchase from you or that you will be paid for it.
7.
Relative wealth
It's a common joke that internet marketers earn money while we sleep, working around the clock.
Even my friend Pat, who is well-known for advocating for passive income, will admit that it does not equate to less effort.
Many
people are shocked to learn how much labor it requires bcause, in my opinion,
many people who are making passive incomes brag about how wonderful it is to
have that money. However, they might not always give you the complete story.
You are only observing the very beginning.
8. You
cannot "set and forget" it.
There is such a thing as passive income, which involves working for a while and then making money off of it; however, this is not what many people believe, and it is also not what many people sell.
Although ProBlogger's book is a lot of work, we earn royalties from it over time. Much less than the articles on my Maker Hacks site did, but in terms of ROI, it worked for us in revenue, credibility, and visibility.
Was it "set and forget"? No, because if we didn't market it, and kept promoting it, we would never make more than what we paid upfront (what a traditional publisher pays an author up front). Yes, there are people who have come across the book, and it's amazing that some of those people are still buying it, but that's partly because of the promotional work we've done for so long. Now we don't do promotional work, and hardly anyone buys it. Those Make Money Maker Hacks articles? If I don't monitor the rankings and see what my competitors are doing, no one who Googles will find it, and my income from it will drop to zero.
I noticed in December 2021 that one of my most popular posts had completely disappeared from Google. Finally, in February 2022, it appears again in the top results. Fixing it requires a significant amount of work and SEO forensics.
9. A blogger, YouTuber, or influencer is not a business.
Content creation is not a business in itself. This can help expand the business and generate income, but running a business involves more than just posting a video of yourself playing Super Mario Bros. Hoping the checks will arrive (unfortunately).
Every business has a flow, including the media industry. It's a system, a pipeline. you have to..
Enhance opportunities
Participation provides sponsorship transfers
You might say, "But Mr. Best makes millions of dollars!" Take a look at the size of his team and the other brand deals and sponsorships he's done. Although they constitute a large portion of his income, his YouTube videos do not.
10. Your viewers are not ATM machines.
Marketers tend to send offers to lists they've assembled after they get a strong list together.
It may become necessary to email and receive a lot of sales notifications!
The problem is that the people on the other end of your contact will eventually become annoyed. Their mood shifts from excitement to annoyance to anger.
They will ignore you or at most unsubscribe you.
Treat your audience right, provide them with worthwhile information, foster goodwill, and only then make relevant, useful offers.
